A man working out in a bare loft gym

A standard cholesterol test leaves a lot out. This panel adds ApoB and Lp(a), the two markers cardiologists rely on most, plus the blood sugar and inflammation numbers that shift years before any diagnosis.

Why ApoB matters

ApoB counts the particles that carry cholesterol into the artery wall. Two people with the same LDL can have very different ApoB, and very different risk.

If something looks off, your report explains how big the effect is and which changes usually move it.

How is Tinsdale different from my yearly physical?

A routine physical looks at about 20 markers. Tinsdale runs 150+ biomarkers, and a licensed physician goes through every result with you and turns it into a clear, personal plan.

Do I need to fast before my blood test?

For most panels, yes: nothing but water for 8–10 hours first. Water actually makes the draw easier. Your exact prep notes arrive with your booking.

How soon will I get my results?

Most results are back within 48 hours of your sample reaching the lab, and we notify you as soon as your physician-signed report is ready.

Can I collect my sample at home?

Yes. Book a home visit anywhere inside I-495 and a certified phlebotomist comes to you, or walk in at one of our three labs.

Is my health data private and secure?

Yes. Your data is encrypted, kept on HIPAA-compliant systems and never sold, and you choose who gets to see your results.

Does insurance cover Tinsdale?

Tinsdale is direct-pay with prices posted up front. Many members pay with HSA or FSA funds, and we send an itemized receipt for reimbursement.
