The questions our care team really hears, sorted by where you are in the process. If yours isn’t here, a person replies within a few hours.

Booking & appointments

Picking a slot, moving it, and what to bring.

How do I book a draw?

Choose a panel, pick one of our labs or a partner site near you and select a slot. Most have same-day or next-morning openings, and booking takes about a minute.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Yes, at no charge up to 12 hours before your slot, using the link in your confirmation email. Two no-shows in a row carry a $20 fee.

What do I need to bring?

A photo ID and nothing more. There is nothing to print; the lab already has your booking.

Do I need to fast?

Only for panels with lipids or fasting insulin — the Full Body Panel and Heart & Metabolic. We remind you when you book and again the day before.

Results & reports

When they arrive, how to read them, and what if something is off.

When will my results arrive?

Most panels are read and sent back within 48 hours of your draw, with an email the minute the physician’s note is ready.

Who reads my results?

A board-certified physician checks every panel against optimal ranges, not only the lab’s wide reference bands, before anything comes to you.

What if something looks wrong?

Your report says plainly what it is, how urgent it is and what to do. Anything that needs in-person care is flagged with the kind of specialist to see.

Can I download or share my results?

Yes. Each report exports as a PDF with the raw lab values attached, the format your primary care doctor will expect.

Panels & pricing

What each test covers and how pricing works.

Which panel should I choose?

Begin with the question you want answered: energy, heart risk, hormones, thyroid, nutrients or sleep. For a baseline, the Full Body Panel covers all six systems.

Is the lab work charged separately?

No. The price you see covers the draw, the lab work, the physician’s read and the plan. You won’t get a second bill.

Can you use results from another lab?

Usually, yes. Send them in and we’ll read them instead of repeating them, provided they are recent and from an accredited lab.

Do you take insurance?

We don’t bill insurance. Panels and memberships are HSA and FSA eligible, and we send itemized receipts.

Membership & billing

Plans, renewals, refunds and receipts.

What does membership include?

Two panels a year, monthly plan updates, unlimited re-reads of past results and 15% off extra panels, from $45 a month.

How do I cancel?

With one click in your account. You keep any panel you’ve already used, and billing ends from the next cycle.

Will my price change?

Your rate is locked for twelve months from sign-up. Any change after that comes with a full cycle’s notice.

Can two people share a plan?

Care+ covers two people, each with their own results, and one shared advisor. Standard memberships are per person.

Privacy & your data

Where your results are kept and who sees them.

Who can see my results?

You and the physician reviewing your panel. No one else at Tinsdale sees identifiable results unless you clearly ask us to.

Do you sell or share my data?

Never. We don’t sell data, and we never share it with insurers, employers or advertisers, whatever the circumstances.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Export everything first if you want a copy, then delete from your account settings. Identifiable records are removed within 30 days.

Is my data used to train models?

Only de-identified and aggregated, to refine reference ranges, and only if that setting stays on. Switching it off costs you nothing.

Retreats & events

Places, what is included and how refunds work.

What is included in a retreat?

A panel when you arrive, doctor-led workshops, all meals and lodging for the listed dates, and your results read in person before you go.

How do I reserve a place?

Inquire from the event page and we’ll hold your place for 48 hours while we check the panel timing works for you.

What is the refund policy?

A full refund up to 30 days before the start date, then 50% up to 14 days. You can move your place to another retreat once, at any point.

Do I need to be fit to attend?

No. Movement sessions are optional and adapted, and every walk has a slower group. Tell us about any limits and we’ll plan around them.

How is Tinsdale different from my yearly physical?

A routine physical looks at about 20 markers. Tinsdale runs 150+ biomarkers, and a licensed physician goes through every result with you and turns it into a clear, personal plan.

Do I need to fast before my blood test?

For most panels, yes: nothing but water for 8–10 hours first. Water actually makes the draw easier. Your exact prep notes arrive with your booking.

How soon will I get my results?

Most results are back within 48 hours of your sample reaching the lab, and we notify you as soon as your physician-signed report is ready.

Can I collect my sample at home?

Yes. Book a home visit anywhere inside I-495 and a certified phlebotomist comes to you, or walk in at one of our three labs.

Is my health data private and secure?

Yes. Your data is encrypted, kept on HIPAA-compliant systems and never sold, and you choose who gets to see your results.

Does insurance cover Tinsdale?

Tinsdale is direct-pay with prices posted up front. Many members pay with HSA or FSA funds, and we send an itemized receipt for reimbursement.
