Background
Dr. Leah Navarro is the most recent addition to the Aldessa team, and her role is a vital one. Many restorative cases — full-mouth rehabilitations in particular — need orthodontic groundwork before any prosthetic or implant treatment can start. Crowding, drifted arches, and a misaligned bite all have to be corrected first, and that is her job.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, then completed a three-year orthodontics residency at UCSF, where she concentrated on adult orthodontics and clear aligner treatment. While many orthodontists mostly treat teenagers, her training centers on adult patients — many of whom are getting ready for implants, veneers, or full restorations.
At Aldessa, her work has two sides. For patients who only need orthodontics, she provides clear aligner and fixed braces treatment from start to finish. For restorative cases, she teams up with Dr. Lindqvist and Dr. Castellano to move teeth into the best position before prosthetic or implant work begins — so the final result is not only straight but sound and built to last. She brings a fresh, modern outlook to the practice and has a real gift for calming nervous first-time patients.
