Privacy Policy
Last updated: Sep 8, 2026
Aldessa Implant Dentistry (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy and takes care of the personal information you share with us when you visit aldessadental.com or contact our practice. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect that information under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act where it applies, and other U.S. laws. If you have any questions, please write to us at hello@aldessadental.com.
1. Who we are and how to contact us.
Aldessa Implant Dentistry is a specialist dental practice serving patients in San Diego County and beyond. Our office is located at 7814 Pelorus Ave, Suite 200, La Jolla, CA 92037 (Aldessa Dental Group LLC). We are the business responsible for deciding how the personal information collected through this website is used. You can reach the person handling privacy questions at hello@aldessadental.com or by mail at the address above.
2. Information we collect.
When you browse our website we automatically record certain technical details—such as your IP address, device type, browser, the pages you view, and the date and time of each visit—using cookies and similar tools. When you send a contact or appointment-request form, we collect what you enter (usually your name, e-mail address, phone number, preferred appointment time, and any notes). If you subscribe to our newsletter or other updates, we collect your e-mail address and your communication preferences. Our website is meant for general information and is not designed to receive health information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”); any protected health information you give us is kept in our secure patient-management system and handled under HIPAA safeguards.
3. Cookies, analytics, and tracking.
Aldessa uses Google Analytics to see how visitors move through our site so we can improve its speed and content. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies in your browser that may record shortened IP addresses and usage data. Analytics cookies load only after you accept them in our cookie banner, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals. You can change your choice or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.
4. Why we use your information.
We use personal information to run and improve the website, to answer your questions and book appointments, to send the service or marketing messages you asked for, to spot and prevent misuse or security problems, and to meet our legal obligations. We collect only what we need for these purposes, and we do not use your information for purposes that are unrelated to them. Where the law requires your consent (for example, for marketing e-mails or analytics cookies), we ask for it first, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
5. Sharing and service providers.
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may pass it to trusted service providers who help us run the website or handle communications (for example, our web host, our e-mail service, and Google Analytics). These providers are bound by written contracts that limit how they may use the information and require them to keep it confidential and secure. Some providers may store data on servers in other U.S. states. Wherever your information is stored, we protect it with safeguards such as encryption at rest and in transit, and we share only what each provider needs to do its job.
6. How long we keep information.
We keep website log data for up to 12 months for security and analytics, contact-form messages for up to 24 months (unless you become a patient, in which case the details may move into your patient record and be kept as California dental-record rules require), and newsletter subscriber data until you unsubscribe or we learn that your e-mail address no longer works.
7. Your privacy rights.
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of it. Residents of some other states have similar rights to access or delete personal information or to opt out of targeted advertising. To use any of these rights, please e-mail hello@aldessadental.com. We will reply within 45 days, or tell you if we need more time. We will not treat you differently for using your rights, and you may also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or your state attorney general.
8. Children’s privacy.
Our website is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. If you believe we have received a child’s personal information without a parent’s consent, please let us know and we will delete it.
9. How we protect your information.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards—including TLS encryption, access controls, and regular security checks—to protect your information from unauthorized access, change, or disclosure. No internet transmission is completely secure, though, so we cannot promise absolute security.
10. Links to other websites.
Our website may link to outside sites that we do not control. This Privacy Policy covers only aldessadental.com; please read the privacy policies of any other sites you visit.
11. Changes to this policy.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, technology, or our practices. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. We will point out important changes or let you know about them in another way.
By continuing to use aldessadental.com you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you have questions about how we handle your information, please contact us at hello@aldessadental.com.
