Background

Dr. Graham Whitcombe is the surgical anchor of Aldessa. When a case needs more than routine implant placement — major bone loss, a low sinus, impacted teeth, or an uneven jaw — he is the surgeon who takes it on.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, then completed a six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, with a medical degree, at UC San Diego. His training covered facial trauma, reconstructive jaw surgery, and advanced bone grafting, giving him surgical depth that most general implant practices simply can't offer under their own roof.

At Aldessa, he carries out every bone graft, sinus lift, difficult extraction, and any other surgery needed before or during implant placement. With a maxillofacial surgeon on the team, patients who were turned away elsewhere for too little bone or tricky anatomy often find an answer with us. He works closely with Dr. Castellano on implant position and with Dr. Lindqvist on cases where his surgical choices directly shape the final aesthetic result.
