Seal Coating

Protect & Refresh Your Driveway With Professional Sealcoating

Sealcoating adds a tough layer that blocks UV, sheds water and road salt, and resists oil stains, keeping your driveway sharp through every Illinois season.

FAQ

Seal Coating Questions, Answered.

A few things homeowners often ask about sealcoating.

How long does sealcoating take to cure?

It's usually dry to the touch within a few hours, but please keep vehicles off the driveway for at least 24-48 hours so it can fully cure.

How often should I reseal my driveway?

Most driveways do best with a fresh seal every 2-3 years. Full sun, heavy use, and our Illinois winters can shorten that, so we're happy to look and give you an honest call.

Will sealcoating hide small cracks?

Sealer fills hairline cracks and evens out the finish, but wider cracks need hot-pour filling first so water doesn't get trapped underneath.

What's the best time of year to seal a driveway?

Our season runs April through November in Illinois; sealer cures best on warm, dry days from May to October.
