FAQ

Driveway Installation Questions, Answered.

A few things homeowners often ask about driveway installation.

How long does a new driveway installation take?

Most residential driveway installations take 2-4 days from tear-out to final rolling, depending on the size of the driveway and the weather.

When can I drive on my new driveway?

Give a new asphalt driveway at least 3-5 days before driving on it, and wait a full season before its first sealcoat.

Do you handle the old driveway removal?

Yes. Tearing out and hauling away your old surface is included in every driveway installation.

How thick will my new driveway be?

We set the stone base and asphalt thickness by your driveway's use and soil, typically 2-3 inches of asphalt over 6-8 inches of compacted stone.
