Benefits
A whole new smile in as little as two weeks
Porcelain veneers are the quickest route to an even, bright smile—correcting shape, color, and minor alignment without months in braces or repeated whitening. Each ultra-thin shell is custom-made to the proportions that suit your face, then bonded to the front of the tooth with great precision. The result is a smile that looks balanced and bright yet entirely natural, and feels just like your own enamel.
Why patients choose veneers
- Very conservative prep – we remove only 0.3–0.5 mm of enamel, keeping the healthy tooth underneath.
- Digital shade-matching & smile design – precise scanners and CAD/CAM design help your veneers blend with your other teeth and your facial features.
- Stain-resistant, high-strength porcelain – your new smile holds up to coffee, tea, red wine, and nicotine better than natural enamel does.
- Several fixes in one treatment – closes gaps, repairs chips, hides deep stains, and corrects mild crowding, all at the same time.
- Long-lasting results – with good hygiene and a night guard, veneers keep their look for 10–15 years (and often longer).
- A real lift in confidence – many patients tell us they feel better about themselves and smile more freely in photos, meetings, and with friends.
Want a smile that looks polished but still completely you? Veneers can get you there—often in just two comfortable visits.
Ideal Candidate
Are veneers a good fit for you?
Porcelain veneers work well for adults with good oral health who want a noticeable smile upgrade without braces or a long whitening program. Because veneers bond to a thin layer of healthy enamel, the best candidates usually match most of the following points:
- Stubborn discoloration that professional whitening can’t lift—tetracycline stains, fluorosis, or deep internal darkening.
- Small gaps, mild crowding, or chipped edges you want fixed quickly and conservatively.
- Enough enamel thickness for minimal-prep bonding (your dentist will confirm this with a quick light test).
- Healthy gums and no active decay—any gum problems are treated first so your veneers last for many years.
- A stable bite and managed grinding—a night guard protects veneers for light grinders, but heavy, untreated grinding rules them out.
- Wanting a low-maintenance, long-term solution that keeps your smile bright and even for 10–15 years or more.
- Realistic expectations—veneers refine the visible front of natural teeth but won’t whiten existing crowns or fillings (we can replace those to match).
Not advised for patients with untreated gum disease, severe enamel wear, or active, uncontrolled clenching or grinding.
Process Overview
What happens, step by step
- Digital smile design & chairside mock-up
- Detailed scans and photos are loaded into our digital smile-design software.
- We plan the ideal length, width, and symmetry of each tooth to suit your face, then make a resin “trial smile” you can wear to preview the look before any enamel is touched.
- Minimal-prep shaping & precise digital scans
- Just 0.3–0.5 mm of enamel is gently shaped to make room for the porcelain—often with no anesthesia.
- An intraoral scanner records a 3D model accurate to 20 microns, so the lab can make veneers that fit like puzzle pieces.
- Custom temporary veneers
- Tooth-colored temporaries protect the shaped enamel, let you “try out” the new shape, and guide the lab on the final contours.
- We ask for your thoughts on length and edge shape so the final set is just right.
- Bonding appointment
- Each porcelain veneer is tried in with a clear gel first, so you can approve the shade and fit in natural light.
- Once you’re delighted, we etch, apply the adhesive, and light-cure each veneer in place, forming a seamless bond that is stronger than a standard filling.
- Final polish, bite balancing & home-care plan
- We fine-tune your bite for smooth chewing, polish the edges to a glassy finish, and take “after” photos.
- You’ll leave with a home-care kit, eating tips for the first 48 hours, and (if you grind) a custom night guard to keep your new smile safe for many years.
