The role
A Series B fintech in Leeds is expanding its platform team and needs a senior backend engineer to own the services that move money between customers and banks.
You’ll join a team of six, set technical direction for your area and mentor two mid-level engineers. Releases go out several times a day, and on-call is shared evenly and paid.
What you’ll need
- Solid production experience in Go, Kotlin or Java
- Building and running distributed services on AWS or GCP
- Confident owning a service end to end, on-call included
- Clear writing, as most decisions are made in documents
