Project Overview

Drainage That Keeps a Busy Kitchen Open.

A busy restaurant kitchen on North High Street was losing hours every week to slow drains. Stannick cleared the existing lines, replaced the failing section, and set up a maintenance schedule.

Slow Drains Were Interrupting Dinner Service.

Years of grease buildup and a partly collapsed line meant wastewater was backing up in the middle of service.

The Challenge

  • Repeated backups during peak hours
  • Heavy grease buildup in the main line
  • A collapsed section beneath the floor
  • Downtime cutting into daily sales

“They worked around our opening hours and kept the kitchen running. We haven’t had a single backup since.”

A Deep Clean, Then a Real Upgrade.

We jetted the system clean, ran a camera through the full line, and replaced the damaged section with larger-diameter pipe.

The Solution

  • High-pressure jetting of the main line
  • Camera inspection of the full drain line
  • Replaced the collapsed section
  • Installed a serviceable grease trap

The Result

Wastewater now drains freely at peak load, and a scheduled service keeps the system ahead of any new buildup.

FAQ

Your questions, answered

Everything you’ll want to know before you book a Stannick plumber.

How long does a project like this take?

Most home projects of this size run between two and five working days. You get a day-by-day plan before we start, and if anything changes you hear it from us rather than finding out the hard way.

Will we be without water during the job?

Rarely for long. We stage the work so at least one bathroom and the kitchen stay usable, and any full shutoff is agreed with you in advance.

Do you patch the walls and floors after?

Yes. Patching is priced into the quote from the start, covering drywall, plaster, tile and any concrete or driveway we had to open.

Can I check on progress while you work?

Of course. Your plumber walks you through what was done at the end of each day, and we photograph anything before it gets closed back up.

Is the finished work under warranty?

Every project comes with a one-year warranty on parts and labor, plus the manufacturer’s own warranty on anything we install.

How do I get a quote for my project?

Send a few photos and a short description through the contact form. We’ll come back with a price range, then set up a site visit to firm it up.
