Project Overview

Dependable Hot Water, Far Lower Bills.

An aging 40-gallon tank was slow to recover and expensive to run. Stannick removed it and installed a high-efficiency unit sized to the family’s actual hot water use.

An Old Heater Was Costing More Every Year.

The old heater couldn’t keep up with morning showers and was running well below its rated efficiency.

The Challenge

  • Hot water running out every morning
  • Long recovery time between uses
  • Gas bills climbing year after year
  • Unit well past its expected life

“Booked on a Monday, installed on Wednesday. The difference in how fast the hot water comes through is obvious.”

Sized Right, Installed Right.

We worked out the family’s hot water demand, removed the old tank, and installed and started up the new unit in a single visit.

The Solution

  • Sized the unit to real household use
  • Removed and hauled away the old tank
  • Installed the new unit and safety valves
  • Started it up and set the water temperature

The Result

Hot water is now there whenever it’s needed, all day long, with a clear drop in the household’s monthly gas bill.

FAQ

Your questions, answered

Everything you’ll want to know before you book a Stannick plumber.

How long does a project like this take?

Most home projects of this size run between two and five working days. You get a day-by-day plan before we start, and if anything changes you hear it from us rather than finding out the hard way.

Will we be without water during the job?

Rarely for long. We stage the work so at least one bathroom and the kitchen stay usable, and any full shutoff is agreed with you in advance.

Do you patch the walls and floors after?

Yes. Patching is priced into the quote from the start, covering drywall, plaster, tile and any concrete or driveway we had to open.

Can I check on progress while you work?

Of course. Your plumber walks you through what was done at the end of each day, and we photograph anything before it gets closed back up.

Is the finished work under warranty?

Every project comes with a one-year warranty on parts and labor, plus the manufacturer’s own warranty on anything we install.

How do I get a quote for my project?

Send a few photos and a short description through the contact form. We’ll come back with a price range, then set up a site visit to firm it up.
